GYM/SCHOOL RULES

• No bouncing of balls on the sidelines. 
• It is distracting to players, coaches, and spectators and in some instances can be a safety hazard to players and spectators. For these reasons we ask that no basketballs be brought to any games unless specifically asked to do so by the coach for a particular game or practice.
• Spectators are not allowed on the court once games begin. NO playing on the courts during half time or time-outs. It is distracting to the players who are trying to listen and learn from their coaches Games and practices are to be observed from the bleachers.
• NO SITTING ON THE STAGE.
• Children are allowed to be in the hallway outside the gym but are NOT allowed to bounce or throw balls/objects in this area.
• NO roaming the school outside the gym area at any time for any reason.
• NO alcohol, smoking, vaping, or chewing tobacco on the school grounds.
• Please clean up all trash following practice and games. (check bathrooms)
• Ellettsville Youth Sports has a ZERO tolerance policy for inappropriate conduct. We expect our coaches to lead their teams in a positive, respectful manner. Our coach’s conduct will be closely monitored, and a no tolerance policy will be enforced. Any coach who consistently displays unsportsmanlike conduct (yelling, complaining about calls, foul language, not following rules, excessive technical fouls, etc) he/she will first receive a warning and if the behavior continues, the coach will be removed from the team for the remainder of the year.
• Parents look to coaches to be good role models for their children. If you allow yourself to lose control, your players and parents will follow your lead. Please remind your parents and players to always conduct themselves with good sportsmanship behavior.
• Our officials will look to the coaches to help maintain a positive environment during games and practices.
